I’m Heiki, endlessly curious about the world, trying to make it better one bit at a time.

I combine an eye for good products and a solid work ethic to build products that help solve important problems around us.

Right now, I am building longevity-focused health insurance to help Americans stay healthy.

Who I am

Hey y'all! I’m Heiki, a former deep learning researcher, turned into a full-time builder, keeping myself occupied solving problems across different verticals. Right now, I’m building Rivendell, on a mission to bring free preventive care to all Americans.

In addition to building companies, I have spent time as an investor at Lightbird VC, investing mostly into developer infrastructure and verticalized AI agents companies. Before the startups and VC world, I spent time in investment banking and as a product manager at Google.

Despite being a total nerd, I get hyped being around eccentric people. Having six back-to-back meetings on a Saturday makes me excited. When I am not meeting new people, I like spending time reading and writing about random topics and writing essays to collect my thoughts on everything ranging from macroeconomics to longevity.

Nobody ever figures out what life is all about, and it doesn't matter. Explore the world. Nearly everything is really interesting if you go into it deeply enough.
